Writing

As fashion obsessed as I am, I can write about almost any aspect of the industry with a lot of insight and enthusiasm. But, I have to admit, my favorite thing to write about is fashion week.  There is nothing like seeing new designs brought to life on the runway.

Having done everything from working from backstage to sitting front row at some of New York Fashion week's biggest shows, I bring a unique insider's perspective to what's happening on the runway and behind the scenes.

From interviewing designers to identifying trends in real time, I love sharing what I see-whether it's writing articles or creating social media content that allows viewers to feel like they're there.

A selection of my fashion week coverage is below and, if you'd like to read more, you can find it here.

Additionally, I've started talking about fashion (well, speaking professionally, I've been talking about fashion since I could talk).  I've been featured on American Fashion Podcast discussing what it's like to start a fashion brand as well as on  The Lingerie Stories Podcast talking about running a modern trade show and supporting other new designers.

I've also done live events including moderating a panel with Cora Harrington, The Lingerie Addict, at The Lingerie Selection.

I'm currently working on some video content...so stay tuned!

Last spring, Monse came onto the scene at New York Fashion Week with a convincing debut collection based around the idea of an easy but glamorous basic – the button-down shirt – reimagined.  Clearly their look struck a chord with the fashion-savvy crowd because long before the show was set to start a line filled with editors and bold-faced names had already formed down the block.  More...
